Funlab has partnered with Invisible Guest to find curious, observant and detail-loving people who can experience selected venues anonymously.
If accepted as an Invisible Guest, you may have the opportunity to undertake assignments at participating Funlab venues with up to four of your favourite people.
You will enjoy the experience naturally while paying attention to the service, staff interactions, activities and overall venue environment. Afterwards, you will complete a structured report explaining what worked well and where the experience could improve.

Approved visit expenses will be reimbursed up to the budget stated for your assignment, which may be as much as $500.

This is not a competition, guaranteed free outing or traditional paid job. You will pay for the experience upfront, retain your receipts and receive reimbursement after the report and eligible expenses have been reviewed and approved.
The process
From Application to Invisible Guest

Apply
Create your Invisible Guest account and complete the questionnaire. The application contains approximately 40 questions and includes a short written summary of a memorable service experience.

Get Reviewed
Invisible Guest reviews your application and decides whether you are suitable for its assessor panel. Acceptance does not guarantee an immediate or regular assignment.
- 03
CLAIM AN ASSIGNMENT
If your application is successful, you will be given access to Invisible Guest’s Hub, where assignments are posted

Experience and Observe
Visit the assigned venue anonymously, enjoy the experience naturally and pay attention to the service, staff interactions, activities and venue environment. You may be required to take photographs, retain and upload itemised receipts, remember staff names or descriptions and make discreet notes.

Submit Your Report
Complete the detailed report within 24 hours while the experience is still fresh. Reports generally take approximately 30 to 60 minutes to complete. Once the report and eligible expenses have been reviewed and approved, reimbursement is processed according to the assignment budget.

YOU MUST ALSO:

- Submit your assessment within 24 hours of the visit

The application contains approximately 40 questions.
You will also be asked to submit a short summary of a memorable service experience. This helps Invisible Guest decide whether being an assessor is right for you.
Before starting, make sure you have:

- A reliable internet connection
- A computer, tablet or mobile device
- A recent memorable service experience in mind
- Enough time to provide thoughtful, detailed answers
You will have seven days to complete the application after creating your account. Incomplete applications and associated accounts may be deactivated after seven days.
Think About This Before You Begin
Consider a recent service experience that stood out for a positive or negative reason.

- • What did the staff member do?
- • How did it affect you?
- • What impact did it have on the overall experience?
Specific observations will demonstrate your suitability better than broad statements such as "the service was great."
Applications are managed and reviewed independently by Invisible Guest.
